Q: What is the difference between 18/10 and 18/0 stainless steel materials?
18/10 stainless steel : Highest quality chrome-nickel stainless steel material containing 18% of chrome and 10% of nickle. The material is non-magnetic, slightly softer than 18/0 stainless steel and enables to obtain a high polished bright shine. Used for cutlery of the highest quality which require gentle care.
18/10 stainless steel : High quality chrome stainless steel containing 18% of chrome. The material is slightly harder than 18/10 stainless steel and has a magnetic nature and enables to obtain a dark-metal shine. Used mainly for heavy-duty cutlery in bistros or catering services.
